While every order is a custom
design, a standard panel is approximately 8 feet long by 2.5 feet
high, and is designed to fit into an existing opening. The company
also manufactures 6 foot high portable wall dividers which
incorporate the see-through panels into the upper portions of each
divider. The finished product is an expertly crafted piece of
furniture built to last, with proper care, for many years to come.
Why not just use two-way mirrors? There are two problems with two-way
mirrors as stand-alone panels. First, they are not effective unless
the lighting on the see-through side is darker than that on the
reflective side. Thus, in an environment such as a synagogue, where
there must be strong lighting on both sides of the panel, two-way
mirrors are not effective. Second, there is a mirror image on the
reflective side, and to a lesser extent on the see-through side, and
this can be distracting.
